Master of one.
What I mean by this is yes it is a Multi process machine but the real focus is one MIG. Reading the manual confirms this with most of the information dedicated to the MIG process. I've owned this welder for over 6 years now and mainly used it as a MIG welder, recently I tried running it as a stick welder and here's what I found. My biggest grip is when MMA welding (ARC) you have no idea what AMPS you have the machine set too. All it displays is the open circuit voltage until you strike an arc. Not very useful when welding solo unless you want to risk arc eye. I resorted to filming the display while welding on a test piece to get it set.
A chart in the manual with approximate current knob to amps would have been real useful. I haven't tried TIG mode with it  but the above  would be true with this process as well.

A product manager responded to this review:
Thank you for your review Aaron. The controls are definitely simple compared to recent models in other ranges, for example. This does allow the manufacturer (Weldtech) to keep costs down and ensure this welder remains an affordable option for many. It's the old trade off of Features vs Price. Thanks for the feedback on the chart, we will pass that back to the manufacturer.
